If you are part of an undergraduate student team working on a health-related technology that addresses a real clinical need, enter the 2015 BMEStart competition! (If you know a student team, tell them about it!)
Now in its sixth year, BMEStart was the first biomedical engineering competition exclusively for undergraduate student teams.
Prizes of $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500 will be awarded to three winners, and will be announced at the BMES Annual Meeting in Tampa, FL in October.
Entries are judged on:
technical, economic and regulatory feasibility
contribution to human health and quality of life
technological innovation
potential for commercialization
