On Tuesday, April 10 at 5:30 PM in Room 2005 in Michael Hooker Research Center, PI+CH is hosting a talk with Rachelle Alpern who currently serves as a Senior Innovation Consultant for the Center for Health Innovation at the UNC School of Medicine. Her desire to develop creative, evidence-based solutions to some of healthcare’s biggest challenges has followed her through an impressive career. Rachelle most recently worked as a Senior Consultant for Cognizant Solution’s Healthcare Practice, where she worked on a number of projects related to care management and value-based medicine. This came after several years working as a Research Coordinator with The Yale Global Health Leadership Institute, which allowed her to study healthcare strategy and policy on the international level with particular focus in Liberia and Ethiopia. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University, Rachelle received her MHA from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare from UNC Kenan Flagler School for Business.
