What: The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will be soon be issuing rules that the FCC says are designed to “preserve the open internet,” commonly called “net neutrality.” More than 3.5 Million public comments were received by the FCC during its public comment period that ended in September. As the Commission reviews those comments and refines its proposed rules, NCTA will host the FCC Chairman’s top advisor on net neutrality to offer our Members a briefing on the background, current status, and next steps on this controversial but important issue.
