Do you have a great business idea but need help getting it launched off the ground? Do you have a business idea that you think is great but aren’t really sure? Triad Startup Weekend is the best, fastest, and most fun way to answer these questions and more. Startup Weekend is an intensive immersion in startup methods and is the best way to meet potential collaborators, mentors, investors, and leaders in the startup ecosystem. It’s an experiential model that takes you out of books and into the real world with the experts you need to know. Now in its 8th year in the Triad, the crash course is led by the global experts at Tech Stars. These business builders have a passion for sharing they have gained from both their success and failures so that you can model what works and avoid what doesn’t on your road to a scalable business.

Anyone can attend, we’ve had participants aged 18-80. The weekend starts with each attendee pitching their ideas and getting to know each other. Out of those ideas the top 5-10 are chosen by popular vote and participants form teams to expand on the ideas. Expert mentors then lead, guide, and encourage the teams through the business development process. The weekend culminates in a pitch competition to a panel of judges comprised of local entrepreneurs, coaches, and investment experts. The winners will receive up to 10K value in software and marketing services, but everyone will win the knowledge to move their own projects forward.
