With 16 years of leadership experience in clinical and academic research, Christin Daniels is a catalyst for research and innovation at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Serving all departments and programs, she marshals the school’s resources to optimize outputs. Daniels provides knowledge management for the school, University and community. She facilitates team science, connecting experts to each other and to suitable funding opportunities. Daniels builds collaborative research groups and provides infrastructure and resources. She delivers data and analytics to drive strategic initiatives forward. As co-chair of the school’s conflict-of-interest committee, Daniels helps people avoid negative outcomes related to potential conflicts of interest, while fostering entrepreneurial endeavors in compliance with University, state and federal regulations.
