During the first Innovate Carolina Network Forum of 2018-19, Carolina faculty, staff and students enjoyed an enlightening discussion on UNC innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E).  I&E leaders from across campus shared updates about the important work they’re doing to turn ideas into innovations that make an economic and social impact at the University and in our community, state and nation.

While these I&E leaders were at the forum, we asked them to tell us the ideas they’re passionate about going all in for. Take a look at what some of them said about their innovative endeavors.

And if you missed the forum, you can still catch up on all the key information and inspiration shared by UNC I&E leaders: A new look at the architecture of Carolina’s I&E network, an update on the Institute for Convergent Science, a faculty team working on access to safe water, and a student team that will present its environmental ocean farming solution to the United Nations.

Check out our recap of the six things you need to know from the network forum to stay on top of emerging I&E initiatives across campus.
