This is an opportunity for any company with some physical component to pitch for $3K cash on the spot, and a ticket to compete for $50K at the finals in Pittsburgh. I’d love to discuss any ways to get UNC involved, I believe it’s going to be an exceptional event!
Attached is a one-pager and press release, I am also including a shareable blurb below for any companies that may be a good fit to apply. Applications are due 2/23.
This year, the Hardware Cup team is touring 6 cities, to find and highlight the most promising physical product startups in the nation. (Companies located outside of these cities will receive a travel stipend to compete at the events.) Winners in each city will receive cash and prizes, and a chance to win $50,000 at the International Finals in May. Any startup with a physical product component can apply: manufactured products, IoT/connected devices, health/medical, consumer products, consumer electronics, food, fashion, robotics, etc. If you know any Hardware Startups you believe would be a good fit, please encourage them to apply here. Applications for the Southeast Regional in Raleigh close on February 23rd.
