The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab at the School of Social Work has an event discussing social entrepreneurship. They will be hosting a panel discussion with staff and residents from Benevolence Farm, a local nonprofit that supports women returning after incarceration by providing housing, employment, and case management services. Residents at Benevolence Farm grow and sell produce, and have recently created a handcrafted line of body care products from their farm-grown herbs. Join us to hear staff and residents of Benevolence Farm talk about their work and how they use social entrepreneurship to advance their mission.
The event is free to attend, and lunch will be provided.
