On Wednesday, November 12th from 6:30PM – 8:00PM in Bingham 301 Shawn Slome, the owner of the eco-specialty gift shop Twig, will be coming in to speak with us about the idea and importance of sustainable consumerism. After the discussion, UNC’s Design for America is bringing in Dr. Barry Bayus to talk about and run through a design thinking workshop centered around sustainable product development. This workshop will introduce the concept behind the innovative idea-generating mindset and improve your creativity and strategy skills. Free hot chocolate and donuts will be provided for participants!
