You’re invited to the “Rise of the Rest” tour with Steve Case. As you may have heard Steve Case, the founder of America Online and Chair and CEO of Revolution, will be holding a series of public and private meetings and visiting with entrepreneurs, investors, CEOs, political leaders, and others in the Triangle startup community on May 5 to shed a light on the great work underway and discuss how to grow the Triangle economy moving forward. Steve will make a $100,000 investment in a local startup while he’s in the Triangle, as well.

This is part of Steve’s and Revolution’s “Rise of the Rest” bus tour in which Steve and his team visit select cities, outside of traditional startup hubs, that are showing very promising signs of growth. So far the bus tour has visited 9 cities and this next tour in May starts in Richmond (5/4) and continues on to Raleigh-Durham (5/5), Charleston (5/6), Atlanta (5/7), and New Orleans (5/8).
