Join us for TEDxUNC 2020: Under the Surface! The ninth annual TEDxUNC conference will take place on Saturday, February 15th, in the historic Sonja Haynes Stone Center. The full event will last from 12-6 PM, but don’t worry if you have other plans — it will be split up into two sessions (12-2:30 PM, 3:30-6 PM).

THEME : In our nuanced, intricate world, there is often much more to someone or something than meets the eye. Beneath the surface of every great innovation, living organism, moving object, and piece of technology, there are processes essential to the creation or discovery of the final product. Implicit forces quietly influence all of the opinions we form and the decisions we make. Behind many of the world’s problems, there are root causes waiting to be addressed. The goal of TEDxUNC is to better understand and explore deeply the ways in which things we do not immediately see are impacting our everyday lives and shaping the world around us ‒ and inside of us.
