When you attend the Innovation Showcase hosted by Innovate Carolina, you meet the most enterprising innovators from UNC-Chapel Hill and the local entrepreneurial community. Join with us as we celebrate the work of faculty, students, alumni and local business founders who have combined ingenuity and hard work to make the greatest human and economic impact possible.

Pitch makes perfect
A group of elite ventures and research projects will be selected from among the top innovations at Carolina and in the local community. These teams will present their startup companies, social ventures and leading-edge research initiatives. For the teams, it’s a chance to pitch to investors, make connections and spark interest in their ideas. For those in the investment and entrepreneurial communities, it’s an opportunity to learn about ideas with breakthrough potential.
Conversations and connections
During the showcase, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make personal connections. After the presentations, our networking reception takes place in an exhibit space that gives you the chance to have personal conversations with many of the venture teams that gave presentation – plus many more researchers and emerging ventures that are working on exciting concepts. Stop by and ask questions. View demos. And dig deeper into the innovative potential of each idea.
