Doug Bright

Graduate Student
Department of City and Regional Planning

Doug is a second-year master’s student in the UNC Department of City and Regional Planning, specializing in transportation and pursuing the design track. He hopes to combine professional backgrounds in tech and education to increase youth engagement in planning and create a world with greater equity of transportation access. Doug likes to practice what he preaches on two feet and two wheels, in addition to cooking, hiking, and nerding out over political humor. He’s excited to find others in the CIPG cohort interested in using design thinking for advancing equity in education, food access, and active transportation.
