Mariel Eaves

Master of Social Work Student, School of Social Work

Mariel is a master of social work student interested in combating interpersonal and institutional manifestations of ableism, racism, and cisheterosexism through direct practice therapy and program design. Outside of school, they enjoy spending time with their cats, listening to socially critical podcasts and audiobooks, and deep-diving into renter-friendly home DIY Youtube. With the CIPG experience, they hope to develop a toolbox for approaching research, program development, and individual treatment plans from a perspective of informed collaboration with their communities.
