A record 100 teams and 89 judges participated in this year’s Carolina Challenge Pitch Party, with more than 300 students to pitch their best, innovative ideas for the most promising ventures. The top three winners were GymNOW Fitness, a mobile app that sells single-use gym passes, Monikos, an app for effective healthcare education, and Inform Athletics, streamlined college athletic recruiting software. Winners will split $5,500 to further their ideas ahead of the Carolina Challenge finals next spring.
