Great business concepts will only get you so far. Founders of young companies all understand that an infusion of early investment funding and the guidance from entrepreneurial advisers is essential.

Explore the Carolina Angel Netork

The Carolina Angel Network (CAN) is part of the Innovate Carolina team and brings together the UNC-Chapel Hill entrepreneurial community, University alumni network and innovative private companies to empower the businesses that drive our future. Its mission is to support the Carolina entrepreneurial community with an angel investing platform that engages the power of our alumni network. The CAN operational team and investment platform exist within the UNC Office of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development and works in partnership with the UNC School of Law and the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

The Carolina Angel Network actively engages and matches UNC-Chapel Hill alumni network expertise with portfolio companies to support growth and success. The global Carolina community offers a uniquely powerful opportunity for networking and guidance from industry experts and successful entrepreneurial leaders. CAN members work actively to connect CAN portfolio companies with the UNC-Chapel Hill network to foster collaboration and further success.
