UNC Alumnus Founds NonProfit to Advance Education for Children Displaced By War

Scott Quilty (EMBA ’15) is the co-founder of TentED, a nonprofit that supports education for children displaced by war. The idea came together while Quilty was a student in the Kenan-Flagler Business School’s Executive MBA program, and launched in 2013 raising $40,000 in the first year to distribute clothing, backpacks and school supplies to refugee families.
