Dan will talk about what he learned from going from being part of a 16 person start-up to an 8,000+ person company…twice. He’ll provide insight on what marketing tactics he did to make both start-ups an attractive target for acquisition as well as how he adapted once being acquired.
He’ll also discuss how the marketing team grew and how his own position within the larger company changed post-acquisition and what led him to return to a small start-up (Ansible) after ShareFile’s acquisition by Citrix only to have that company be acquired by Red Hat.
