Green Infrastructure as an Environmental Justice Challenge in the United States

Our research attempted to better understand the organizations and stakeholders involved in the implementation of green infrastructure across the United States and how their work intersects with the work of environmental justice organizations around the state. Our preliminary method of gathering information was by establishing contact with key stakeholders and conducting interviews to gain an understanding of the challenges each faces. We also analyzed grey literature such as policy briefs and reports disseminated to state and local policymakers related to green infrastructure and environmental injustice over the last 5-10 years.
