This year Better Business Bureau serving Eastern NC hits a milestone. We are commemorating being fifty years young by celebrating the past with programs for the future. Recent start-up companies emanating from Kenan-Flagler Business School could benefit from one of BBB’s new initiatives. Joining the line-up of presentations at our April 22nd awards luncheon will be a new award recognizing young entrepreneurs. Along with the Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics and the Torch Scholarships, for the first time we will be awarding the BBB Spark Award. It will be bestowed upon entrepreneurs age 35 and younger or whose new businesses are less than three years old, and demonstrate Character, Culture, and Community. Applicants must reside or work in BBB’s 33-county service area.
Members of the 2020 BBB Spark Award class will receive:
The winner of the 2020 BBB Spark Award will also receive a $2,000 cash prize!
Completed applications are due no later than 4:30pm on March 13, 2020.
