The UNC Be A Maker makerspace network is pleased to announce the 2^nd Annual BeAM Makerspace Showcase! This event serves as an opportunity for individuals, groups, and organizations to compare, share and show off their makerspace creations to the Carolina community and to compete to win several distinguished awards.

The Showcase, our annual collaboration with MakNet, will take place on April 6^th, 2019, in the West Lounge of the Student Union. This event will be open to the public from 6PM to 8 PM for viewing and an opportunity to vote for your favorite creation! Everyone is welcome to attend this event and grab buttons, stickers, and some BeAM-themed pictures for the ‘gram!

All members of the Carolina community are encouraged to register their projects at https://beam.unc.edu/showcase/. Registration is currently open and will end at midnight on April 4^th, 2019. Please direct any questions to beam@unc.edu. We hope to see you there!
