Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) was launched by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the UK Prime Minister and is the world’s largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare. It has grown to 115 countries engaging more than 7 million people.
Entrepreneurship is one of the most important aspects of our economy. Across the country, college students no longer believe that they will spend their careers in one place. Whether considering starting an enterprise or innovating within an organization, Carolina students are eager to learn skills, harness resources, exercise creativity, and create sustainable solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Looking ahead at their future, they hope to pursue their passions, pave their own paths, and leave a footprint in the world.
