We’re very excited to host InnerOptic during our next RTPVR Meetup at the Southwest Regional Library in Durham.
InnerOptic is a spin-off from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on medical applications of augmented reality and related technologies. In this talk, InnerOptic CTO Luv Kohli will discuss how InnerOptic’s visualization software evolved from a research project to a commercial, FDA-cleared product providing intuitive navigation for ultrasound-guided procedures. He will also discuss the potential benefits of augmented reality in various medical domains, and some of InnerOptic’s recent work with the Microsoft HoloLens and Magic Leap One. A hands-on demo will be available for attendees to try, to facilitate further discussion.
