Make plans to attend a virtual, two-part training session focused on NIH SBIR/STTR proposal preparation on the afternoons of October 19 and 26. This year’s NIH event is a joint partnership between the SBTDC, UNC and Duke and is open to all, no matter your affiliation.
This no-cost event will help university researchers and small tech companies dial into the NIH SBIR/STTR programs and help make them more competitive when submitting a Phase 1 proposal for the next submission deadlines in early 2022.
The NIH SBIR award rate in NC was only 11% last year, which means the program is becoming quite competitive and detailed preparation is more important than ever.
