Entries open March 17 – June 30
The James Dyson Foundation, the charitable arm of Dyson, Inc., supports engineering + design education at K-12 and university levels.
The foundation runs a design competition every year called the James Dyson Award, which has a very broad brief: “Design something that solves a problem.”
This year the competition opens on March 17 and closes on June 30. There are 20 national finalists named, then 1 international winner, 2 int’l runners-up, and 1 sustainability winner.
Students from design and/or engineering disciplines can apply as individuals or as teams AND can continue to enter for up to 4 years after graduating (from both undergrad and grad school).
