Come learn all about the technical aspects behind Newsroom Production, hear from a panel of women in different positions at CBC, and tour our newsroom!

Storytelling is the basis of impactful media—from news articles to slideshows to videos. Starting with an idea, students will learn how to produce great stories the same way that collaborative newsrooms work (pre-production, production and post-production). Using mobile devices, students will learn techniques to produce photo and video content.

Note: Follow signs to the main lobby. Please bring a camera or camera phone. If you do not have access to a camera or smartphone, please let us know. Snacks will be provided.
