Alana Towles

Innovation and Material Transfer Agreement Manager

Alana Towles joined OTC as the Invention and Material Transfer Agreement Manager in November 2021. She is responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating Material Transfers Agreements (MTAs) in addition to supporting the broader licensing team. Prior to joining OTC, Alana worked as a district attorney legal assistant for Granville County, NC. Alana earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2019 and then earned her master’s degree in criminal justice from East Carolina University in 2021.
