Brock Pierce
Brock Pierce works with key stakeholders across the university and in the community to develop strategies that demonstrate how the University drives innovation and economic impact. In his position, Brock crafts and implements a stream of content focused on the university’s institution-wide impact in the areas of commercialization, public innovation and tech-based economic development.
Prior to his current role, Brock worked as a Senior Editorial Manager at Fidelity Charitable and previously as the Marketing Communications Manager at Innovate Carolina, where he orchestrated the office’s communications by working with faculty, students and staff to tell the story of innovation and entrepreneurship at UNC-Chapel Hill. His expertise includes strategy and program development, content and creative development, web and social media, email and newsletter communications, news writing and storytelling. Brock has 20 years of experience working in marketing, branding and communications with global corporations, advertising agencies, and in-house creative teams at Fidelity Charitable, SAS, McDonald’s Corporation and McKinney.
