Blake Fordyce

Blake received a BA in Neuroscience at Boston University. After graduation she worked as a researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital, studying mechanisms of neuroplasticity at the Center for the Neuroscience of Psychedelics. She is currently a first-year graduate student in the Neuroscience department at UNC-Chapel Hill. As a researcher, she is interested in plant-based medicine for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. As a Venture Catalyst Fellow, she is looking forward to developing skills that will help address the challenges of a budding industry in the development of therapeutic tools and practices for psychiatry.
