Brianna Herold

Doctoral Student, School of Education

Brianna is a doctoral student in school psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Education. Experiences from both her master’s degree at Carolina and as an employee on a series of clinical trials at the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development helped hone her research interests in working with children with developmental disorders, specifically autism spectrum disorders, along with co-occurring pain conditions and sensory experiences. Outside of graduate school, Brianna enjoys art, design, photography, traveling and volunteering, especially in art education for pediatric patients. In the CIPG program and through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, Brianna hopes to expand her knowledge in social innovation and entrepreneurship in order to develop meaningful solutions, products and changes as a doctoral student and in the field as a future psychologist.
