Callia Cox

Master of Public Health Student, Gillings School of Global Public Health

Callia is a first-year master of public health (Nutrition/Registered Dietitian Internship) student in the Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her main interests include studying food security and food system sustainability in urban environments and how municipal government can intervene through public-private partnerships. Through the certificate program, Callia plans to explore topics and perspectives outside of public health and nutrition that are essential to learning how to design and implement influential and innovative programs. Outside of coursework, she enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops in the area.
