Jessica Tetterton-Kellner
Jessica Tetterton-Kellner is a Ph.D. Candidate in UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Division of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics. Her research focuses on creating delivery solutions to treat chemotherapy induced cardiotoxicity and myocardial infarctions. Prior to her PhD, Jessica worked as a veterinary technician in different fields for years, giving her invaluable practical knowledge of clinical work, which has enabled her to focus on pursuing clinically translational research. Jessica is interested in supporting and developing work that aims to be clinically relevant to not only treat the patients of today, but to support the healthcare workers of today. As someone who comes from a rural area of the United States, Jessica is passionate about the financial and intellectual accessibility of healthcare. As a Venture Catalyst Fellow, she is eager to learn about the challenges of moving research from the bench to the market to create more accessible healthcare options for consumers.
