Logan Zwerneman

Logan Zwerneman is a graduate research assistant in the UNC Department of Chemistry. During his four years in the department, he has participated in multiple industry-academia collaborations that have expanded the state-of-the-art in synthetic methods development and in infectious disease treatment strategies. The novelty and progress of Logan’s research efforts have enabled him to present his work at three national conferences and at a symposium. As a highly collaborative chemist, Logan frequently uses his subject matter expertise to discern the feasibility and applicability of innovations in the field in such a way that he and his colleagues may efficiently advance their projects. When he is not brainstorming new synthetic methods, testing reactions in the laboratory, or communicating findings, you can often find Logan trail-running, playing basketball, or camping with friends and family around North Carolina or his home state of Texas.
