Minority Startup Meet and Greet

Join this informative, interactive event designed for minority startup founders and students. Hosted by Innovate Carolina, the Black Entrepreneurs Initiative and University Career Services, this session is a great chance to learn about the experiences of minority entrepreneurs by talking directly with startup founders who are historically underrepresented in this sector and who want to build relationships with minority students. You’ll also discover how to tap into a campus network and community for Black entrepreneurs that the student-led Black Entrepreneurs Initiative is cultivating at UNC-Chapel Hill. University Career Services will be on hand to equip you with networking tips that you can use to build relationships that lead to internships, mentors and employment. Being an entrepreneur is all about connecting and collaborating, so why not get started now? This session is open to all UNC-Chapel Hill students and hosted by Innovate Carolina and University Career Services. You’ll have the chance to talk directly with startups that are looking to meet innovative Carolina students who have an interest in the entrepreneurial world. If you’re searching for an internship, job or a startup expert who can help answer questions, this session is a chance to jumpstart your entrepreneurial journey. University Career Services will share helpful how-to’s that you can use to successfully engage with the leaders of startups who may have employment opportunities and professional advice to offer.
