December 7, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What Does it Take to be a Successful Entrepreneur?

According to the Small Business Administration close to 66% of small businesses will survive their first 2 years. The SBA also tells us that about 50% of businesses fail during the first year in business.

Why are some businesses successful while others fail? Jimmy Davies of Every.Black will lead a discussion and share with you some common traits of successful entrepreneurs.

  • Clarity of purpose. Know what business you are in.
  • The importance of networking. You can’t do it alone.
  • Readers are leaders.
  • Give and you shall receive.
  • You must be persistent. Never quit!
  • You can’t fly like an eagle if you’re hanging out with the turkeys.
  • You are what you think you are.
  • You’re always selling.

This session is geared for anyone that wants to be a successful entrepreneur. Registration is FREE and space is limited, register today!! For more information, you can contact Angela Milton at amilton@carolinasmallbusiness.org.
