Join Anne Jones, co-founder of District C, for a workshop designed to help you build the tools and mindsets that drive successful collective work. Based on her experience leading District C, which partners with forward-thinking high schools from across the region to recruit diverse cohorts of teachers looking for innovative ways to prepare students for the real world, Anne will share insights on the art and science of asking the right questions to get valuable feedback. By attending, you’ll learn to use questioning techniques to fully invest in and understand the diverse perspectives of others.
Following the workshop, the Innovate Carolina team will lead an information session about an exciting new technology that’s now available to student innovators and entrepreneurs at Carolina. This technology can help you test your early ideas, vet your product, get feedback and connect with other innovators and entrepreneurs. Find out how you and other UNC students can use the Innovate Carolina Solution Platform to connect virtually with your personalized network of entrepreneurs, mentors and investors – and one another. And discover how this technology allows you to use social ideation to gather valuable feedback and bring your idea to life.
